Terms and conditions

BOOKING CONDITIONS:
It is necessary to book in advance. Each participant has to certify that: they can swim 25 metres, submerge, are in reasonable physical condition and have read the franceraft Terms and Conditions. An authorisation to this effect has to be signed before the trip starts. An adult must sign the authorisation for those under 18.

SUPERVISION:
franceraft activities are supervised by fully qualified guides or instructors with a national diploma in their discipline.

CANCELLATION:
Reservations are subject to the following cancellation conditions:
-more than 30 days prior to departure: the deposit (50% of the total amount) will be retained for office administration and loss of sales.
– between 30 and 21 days: the deposit (50% of the total amount) and 25% of the balance due are retained.
– between 21 and 8 days: the deposit (50% of the total amount) and 50% of the balance due are retained.
– less than 7 days: the full amount is due.

PROGRAMME ALTERATION:
franceraft reserves the right to alter any activity programme due to reasons of security, rise in water level, drought, natural disaster or accidental pollution, technical level, physical or psychological insufficiency of the participants, without the possibility of any reimbursement. If franceraft has to cancel an activity for whatever reasons, the participants will be fully reimbursed without having any claim for compensation or expenses whatsoever.

INSURANCE:

franceraft holds professional public liability insurance. Each participant should take out appropriate insurance for personal belongings, medical and legal expenses and personal liability. franceraft offers a complimentary insurance (cartes sport).

RESPONSABILITY:
Outdoor activities by their very nature are adventurous where accidents can happen. Each participant should be aware of and accept the risks that are involved and agree that franceraft and its partners cannot be held responsible for these risks. This also applies to the beneficiaries or any member of the family. Each participant must follow the safety instructions given by the guides or instructors who cannot be held responsible for incidents, accidents or personal injury resulting from a rash personal initiative. franceraft cannot be held responsible for personal belongings (loss, breakages, theft etc).

The French courts of justice are responsible without exception and will preside over the proceedings of any legal complaints, regardless of the nationality of the parties involved or where the accident or damage occurs. The court of responsibility and competency is in Chambery France.
